‘I Thought We Were in a Relationship’ : Delusional Dude Gets Next Level Friend Zoned After Wrongly Assuming He Had a Girlfriend for 3 Years

At this point, it's a well known universal fact that until you have 'the talk' — you ain't together. Mind you, if a relationship is what you're looking for, you might want to chat about expectations sooner than later. Because nowadays, everyone is looking for a FWB, a one night stand, or even a 'friend'. It's no longer a given that everyone is looking for their soulmate. 

 

While scrolling through Reddit, we happened upon a post that made us sigh and wonder how someone could be so naive… we get it if you don't want to bring up the 'what are we?' question a few weeks in… But THREE YEARS? Dude, c'mon. Read the room! Any girl who is going on dates with you for three years without technically getting to first base (never mind second!) — is BFF material.     Font - don't want to ruin that by moving further. Here's the thing. I've had a similar situation with someone I thought was maybe a friend. I had feelings for her and I was hoping she had feelings for me. We went out for 2 years and she finally asked me... "so are we official or what?" I was blindsided and overjoyed.
